1) Why CIPM Matters

The China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition (CIPM) is one of the most influential platforms for pharma equipment in China, organized by the China Association for Pharmaceutical Equipment and held twice a year. The Autumn 2025 edition took place on 16–18 October at the Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition. With over 150,000 m² of show floor and more than 1,600 exhibitors across thematic halls—formulation equipment, API equipment, packaging, quality testing, cleaning systems, automation, and smart factory—CIPM is a key window for discovering new technologies, regulatory trends, and automation innovations.

At CIPM 2025 (Qingdao), HUANGHAI showcased three core technology tracks that drew strong interest from domestic and international visitors:

2.1 ODF Integrated Solution

We presented a full workflow from solution preparation → precision coating → drying → cutting & packaging → testing, demonstrating configurations that scale from R&D to commercial production. Visitors focused most on film thickness uniformity, drying efficiency, batch record retention, and ease of cleaning. Our engineers also explained how to mix and match modules for different dosage formats.

2.2 Laser Drilling for Osmotic Tablets

We introduced the Olando K3-2 system with the vision module, highlighting an integrated approach of stable orifice control + auto rejection + data traceability. Multiple formulators asked how to connect the laser module to MES/LIMS to meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 audit trails.

2.3 QC & Lab Instruments

We displayed core instruments including dissolution testers, disintegration testers, tablet hardness testers, and moisture analyzers, with live demonstrations of printer/PC connectivity to streamline data capture and analysis for GMP workflows.

3) In the Field

Throughout the show, our team engaged with visitors from India, Vietnam, Canada, Egypt, and across China. Many tried our instruments on site and expressed interest in product trials or co-development. ODF patches, oral dissolvable films, and functional nutrition applications were frequent topics—signaling strong market momentum for thin-film formats.
