The Huanghai BY-300A is a complete lab-scale pan coater, with hot-air main unit and feed pump, air compressor, spray gun and stand in the box, so one machine coats, polishes, colours, dries and mixes small batches. It is made by Huanghai Pharmaceutical Instruments (Shanghai, since 1978) for pharmaceutical and food research labs and university teaching.

How to choose a lab-scale tablet coating machine

The BY-300A from Huanghai Pharmaceutical Instruments (Shanghai, since 1978) is a rotating-pan coater for pharmaceutical and food research and university teaching. How to choose

  • Batch size: use the φ300 pan for up to 2 kg and the φ200 pan for up to 1 kg. The limit is total batch weight, not particle size, as long as the load rotates stably in the pan.
  • Coating liquid: the fine, even spray suits liquids that are not sticky or coarse. For unusual products, ask us before ordering.
  • Space: a bench-sized machine with the compressor included, so it fits an R&D or teaching lab bench.
